Smith Lake Effect

Built on generational family land, this Smith Lake property holds tremendous sentimental value, and we were honored to help bring the vision of its owners to life. From pre-construction to the final phases, we collaborated closely with architect Cindy Coyle and her talented ArchitectureWorks team to refine every detail. The owners wanted a warm and inviting interior color palette inspired by the serene shoreline and rich waterfront foliage. We selected a soothing shade of white for the walls and a peaceful blue-green ceiling paint to add a fresh perspective in the foyer and kitchen. Expansive sliding barn doors on the front of the home can provide privacy or open wide to welcome in the outdoors. In the living room, an oversized panting by Michael Marlowe complements a massive bank of windows overlooking the lake. Pressed ferns and wild grasses hang throughout the home, adding more touches of nature to this lovely lakeside retreat.
