Built in 1927 in Redmont Park along the ridge of Red Mountain, this historic home was recently renovated to open up views from the interior, add a family room and expand the size of the master bedroom. Large windows and French doors reveal stunning city views from the home’s living room and front terrace. We worked with Nequette Architecture and Design to honor and preserve the historical integrity of the home. Contemporary modifications made by the previous owners were replaced to return the home to its original roots. The couple wanted the interior to be inviting, comfortable and unstuffy. We crafted a plan that was traditional enough to suit the style of the house but added a modern edge. Soft greys and blues were used throughout, and antiques and special pieces from buying trips across the country were paired with clean-lined upholstery for a lovely blend of old and new. The beautiful landscaped exterior features lush gardens, a pool and a dining porch with group seating surrounding a custom fire pit.
